Although the Allegheny Plateau is ran by the Audobon Society, on this day we saw no birds. This place is located on top of Shaffer Mountain on the border of Somerset & Bedford County. The migration of the hawks & eagles are observed here. Bald Eagles, Golden eagles & a variety of hawks can be observed looking out over the mountainside. Blue Knob can be seen on a clear day as well as Shawnee Lake. Please click on the pictures below to enlarged them. So for this day we have listed this location as scenery.
