Parkers Landing has at least 170 figures carved in the rocks along the Allegheny River from the Native Americans. They are on low flat rocks along the waters edge. The best time to view the Petroglyphs is when the Allegheny River is at a low point. Most of the spring time the rocks lay under water due to the snow melting and raising the river. When we were there in July the river was still covering all the rocks.
