August 3: 3:30 pm: Nisbet near Big Run area: Two hikers noticed something near a fallen pine tree. As they got closer they noticed it was kneeling. But when it stood up they realized it was about 7 foot tall. It had sort of a manlike head but was covered in brown hair and had a body like a gorilla with long arms. The air had a fowl rotten-like musty smell to it.
1993:
Late April: about 2 am: near Catawissa: Two witnesses were camping out near a pond and an orchard. They needed more firewood and went toward the orchard to retrieve some more wood. Upon entering the orchard they heard an awful scream. Looking in the direction of the scream they saw a creature standing upright about 5 1/2 foot tall and weighing about 300 to 400 pounds. The creature started running towards the two witnesses and they took off for the car.
